Staff furloughs

With Washington’s economy hard-hit by the pandemic, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is planning 1 day of agency-wide furloughs every month through November.

While general public safety-related requirements will remain staffed, almost every other WDFW solutions, including customer care, is supposed to be unavailable Friday amorenlinea, Sept. 4, Friday, Oct. 30, and Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Sturgeon

Lake Roosevelt’s sturgeon fishery continues to be available through Sept. 30, and a extra element of the river starts to sturgeon fishing Sept. 1.
